Bears Top Ice Dogs 6-4 at Home
2018-02-18The Fond du Lac Bears, who were outshot 52-35, were able to capitalize on more of their chances to pick up a 6-4 win over the Fox Cities Ice Dogs in a Great Lakes Hockey League game Saturday at the Fond du Lac Blue Line Family Ice Center.

James Goodfellow, who finished the night with a three point effort, got things started for the Bears, scoring 5:05 into the first period.
After Fox Cities tied the game 1-1, Niles Own put the Bears ahead to stay with a power-play tally.
Fond du Lac took a 4-2 lead into the third, where the teams continued to trade goals.
In addition to Goodfellow's three points (two goals), the Bears got goals from Joseph Blagoue, Mitch Grebe, Tom Glomski and Owen.
Goodfellow, Blagoue, Grebe, Conrad Acheson, Ryan Smet, Tyler Grebe and David Schlicting all picked up helpers in the victory.
Randy Willis had 48 saves for the Bears in goal.
The Bears travel to Mosinee to take on the Papermakers on Friday, February 23 and return home to Blue Line on Saturday, February 24 for an 8 PM faceoff with the Calumet Wolverines.
