2018-02-25Trailing 3-2 entering the final frame, the Bears scored two goals and Randy Willis shut the door as the Bears defeated the Wolverines 4-3.
The Fond du Lac Bears scored the games final three goals, including two in the third period, to erase a 3-1 deficit and win 4-3 over the Calumet Wolverines Saturday night.
Conrad Acheson tied the game 3-3 just 44 seconds into the third period, assisted by James Goodfellow and David Schlicting.
Later in the period, with just 7:30 remaining, Tyler Grebe found the back of the next for the second time to put the Bears ahead for good.

Schlicting took a two-minute minor, Ryan Smet got called for a five-minute slashing call then was given a game misconduct, Grebe got called for cross-checking and Acheson received a 10-minute unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. However, the Bears settled down after that, not committing a penalty the rest of the game.

The Bears will head to West Bend on Friday night to take on their long-time rivals for an 8 PM tilt. The Bombers, who currently sit in first place in the Great Lakes Hockey League, lead the Bears by four points in the standings, but the Bears have a game in hand.
The Bears head back home for the annual Teddy Bear Toss benefiting Girls on the Run on Saturday. Fans are encouraged to bring new teddy bears or stuffed animals to the game to throw on the ice when the Bears score their first goal against the Monroe Blues. Puck drop is 8 PM.
