Bears Announce 2018-19 Schedule

The Fond du Lac Bears, members of the Great Lakes Hockey League, have announced their 2018-19 season schedule.
The Fond du Lac Bears, members of the Great Lakes Hockey League, have announced their 2018-19 season schedule.
The Bears open the 2018-19 season on Friday, October 26 in the Keevin Cup at Fond du Lac Blue Line Family Ice Center against the Fox Cities Ice Dogs. Puck drop is 8 PM.
In total, the Bears will play 28-games, not including the GLHL post-season tournament. The team will also feature an alumni game December 29.
Another new wrinkle to the schedule this season will be a non-league game against the upstart Sanilac Blades Hockey Club of the Interstate Hockey League in Michigan. The league is entering its first season of operation, and the team wanted to seek out a proven opponent during its inaugural season.
The Bears will face the defending GLHL tournament champion, and rival, West Bend Bombers at least six times this season, including at least once every month except for February. The regular season concludes with a matchup against the Bombers at home on Saturday, March 23.
