Bears Head to West Bend to Start 2019

The Bears, after a long holiday break, begin the 2019 portion of the schedule tonight in West Bend.

Long breaks have been a theme so far this season. But as the calendar officially turns to winter, the Bears season is about to heat up.

Heading into the 2019 portion of the 2018-19 season, the Bears find themselves at 4-5-0-1 overall, and 2-3 in the Great Lakes Hockey League - good for seventh in the nine-team league.

Tonight, the Bears find themselves facing a familiar opponent - the West Bend Bombers. The Bears and Bombers have squared off three times already this season, with the Bears going 1-1-0-1 against rivals.

Tonight's contest is an exhibition game and will not count in the GLHL standings.
