Weekend Preview: Bears Face Familiar Foe in Second Home Game
2021-01-29The Fond du Lac Bears host the Fox Cities Ice Dogs tonight, looking to even up the season series 1-1.
If it sounds similar to two weeks ago...it's because it is.
The Fond du Lac Bears (1-2-0-1) will host the Fox Cities Ice Dogs tonight at Blue Line Family Ice Center, in a re-match of the Beras home opener two weeks ago. The Ice Dogs won that contest 4-2.
The Bears have had plenty of time to think about that game, one where they had plenty of chances to capitalize in the back and forth affair, but were unable to get more than two past Ice Dogs' goaltender Drew Chaney.
The Bears were able to put 37 shots on goal two weeks ago, but the Ice Dogs 43 proved to be too much.
Tickets are still available for the game, which can be purchased here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/fond-du-lac-bears-vs-fox-cities-tickets-133863014881
No game-day tickets will be sold to the game, with capacity limited to 350. Those who purchased tickets online will need to print off their tickets for admission or show their tickets from their phone. All persons attending need a ticket regardless of age. Fans should arrive early to allow for extra time and space in the lobby.
