Bears to Face Fox Cities, De Pere This Weekend on Home Ice

Fond du Lac, WI - Two games. Two nights. Hockey season is officially in full swing.

The undefeated Fondy Beras (4-0 overall, 3-0 GLHL) will look to keep their hot start to the season going this weekend with two more home games on the schedule. 

Friday, the Bears and Ice Dogs will meet for the second time this season. The first matchup was back on November 5 with the Bears claiming a 6-4 victory on the Dogs' home ice. Ryan Sabel scored a hat-trick to lead the offense while Justin Davidson stopped 29 shots in the victory.

Saturday, the Bears will face the De Pere Deacons in a regular-season contest for the first time since the 2019-20 season, as the Deacons took a leave of absence from the GLHL due to Covid-19. However, the Deacons would compete in the Great Lakes Hockey League tournament in 2021, defeating the Beras in overtime to win the championship.
