Bears Capture GLHL Regular Season Title
2023-03-13The Bears wrapped up the 2022-23 Great Lakes Hockey League regular season title Friday night with a victory over the Fox Cities Ice Dogs.
The Bears move to 16-1-0-0 with a vicotry over the Ice Dogs Friday evening.

Anthony Grebe's with 20 seconds remaining in the game completed a four-goal comeback as the Bears captured the 2022-23 Great Lakes Hockey League regular season title and #1 seed in the upcoming GLHL Tournament. Down 5-2 in the second period, the Bears scored two in the final 2:15 of the second to cut the deficit to 5-4. Malachi Buchholz tied the game just after the midway mark of the third before Grebe's game-winner. Grebe led the way with three points for the Bears, with Jordan Foster, Matt Letmanski, Brady Beekman, and Mitch Grebe each chipping in two. Alex Kruger made 30 saves in net.
