Bears Magical Season Continues with Weekend Sweep

The Bears picked up season victory numbers 20 and 21 over the weekend.

As the regular season starts to close, the Bears remain hot. 

Friday (W 10-4) vs. De Pere

The Bears jumped out early and never looked back, scoring five in the first period as they defeated the Deacons 10-4 on St. Patrick's Day. Matt Letmanski and Brady Beekman each had four-point nights to lead the high-powered Bears offense against a short-handed Deacons lineup. Letmanski, Jordan Foster, and Malachi Buchholz each had two-goal nights. Justin Davidson made 21 saves in net, with Clint Zumer strapping on the pads for the final five minutes of the contest and making three saves.

Saturday (W 4-1) vs. Hockey Factory

In their final exhibition matchup of the season, the Bears downed Hockey Factory 4-1.

Coming Up

The Bears will close out the regular season with a pair of home games Friday and Saturday at 8 PM. Before the game Friday, fans can skate with the Bears form 6:15-6:45 PM. The Bears will take on the Mosinee Papermakers Friday night, and the Eagle River Falcons Saturday.
