Weekend Preview: Bears Look to Get Back on Winning Track

2023-12-09

The Bears are looking to jump back into the win column on home ice tonight.

Despite a 5-4 loss their last time on the ice, the Bears enter tonight's game with the De Pere Deacons leading the Great Lakes Hockey League standings.

Four games into the 2023-24 campaign, the Bears have a 3-1-0-0 record, good for first place. The Bears are 4-1-0-0 overall.

The Deaons enter tonight's game having just played one game thusfar, a 3-2 loss to Eagle River last weekend.

The Bears offense, like last year, remains a juggernot on the ice, averging 11 goals per game, tops in the GLHL.

On the defensive side of the puck, the Bears have only allowed 14 goals, giving them a +30 goal differential.
