Weekend Recap: Bears Enter Christmas Break with 5-2 Victory Over Calumet

Saturday (W 5-2) vs. Calumet

Tied 1-1 entering the third period against the Wolverines, Matt Berger found the back of the net to break the tie and help propel the Bears to four third-period goals to get the victory over Calumet. The win keeps the Bears undefeated on home ice this season as the team enters the Chrismas break. The Bears got goals from Conor Martin (power play), Berger, Nick Sirota, Anthony Grebe, and Matt Letmanski as the team fired 40-shots on Calumet netminder Tyler Hubbard. Bears goalie Justin Davidson posted a .929 save percentage, stopping 28 shots for the win. Davidson is now 3-1 with a .915 save percentage and 2.75 GAA in four GLHL games.
