1/15/24 Weekend Preview: Ice Dogs, Falcons Come to Fondy

It's Mental Health Awareness weekend this weekend as the Bears will be donning special Mental Health Awareness Jerseys in a pair of Great Lakes Hockey League home games Friday and Saturday.

Friday is Mental Health Awareness Night presented by NAMI Fond du Lac when the Bears take on the Fox Cities Ice Dogs. Saturday, the Mental Health Awareness jerseys will be auctioned off with all proceeds benefiting NAMI Fond du Lac. Saturday's opponent is the Eagle River Falcons.

The Bears enter the weekend coming off a two-game sweep of Top Shelf Chicago in an exhibition series to close out 2023.

Ryan Sabel continues to lead the GLHL scoring race with 19 points in six games. Not far behind sits Anthony Grebe with 17 points and Nick Monfils with 16.

Justin Davidson is second in the league with a 2.75 GAA to go with his .915 save percentage, placing him third.
