Fond du Lac, WI - Ryan Durant's four-point night, including a hat-trick, helped lead the Bears to an 11-7 victory over Eagle River Saturday at Blue Line.
Saturday (W, 11-7) vs. Eagle River
The Bears got four-point nights from Durant, James Goodfellow and Robbie Coleman in the winning effort.
Despite trailing by two goals early, the Bears clawed back in the offensive outburst to head into the first intermission with a 4-3 lead.
After the team's traded a pair of goals in the second, the Bears pulle away with five in the final frame to secure the win.
Justin Demaa stopped 29 shots in goal for Fondy.
Perhaps the biggest story of the evening is that the Bears were able to raise $1,128 to help aid in Fond du Lac area flood relief after recent warm temperatures melted all the winter's snow, resulting in flooding all around Fond du Lac. The money comes from the evening's 50/50 raffle sales.
